D.A. hike to the extent of 8% w.e.f. 01.01.2013.
All
India Consumer Price Index (industrial workers) Base 2001-100 for the
month of December 2012 stands as 219
Therefore,
the Central Government employees will have a D.A. hike to the extent of
8% w.e.f. 01.01.2013. The revised D.A w.e.f 01.01.2013 will be 80%.
Normally the revised D.A rate will be approved by the cabinet and
difference is being paid in the month of April every year.

Homage to the great man and salute his work on his Mahaparinirvan Day – Death Anniversary on 6th December.
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, commonly known as Babasaheb,
was an Indian jurist, political leader, philosopher, anthropologist,
historian, orator, economist, teacher, and editor. He was also the
Chairman of the Drafting Committee of Indian Constitution.
Ambedkar also campaigned against social
discrimination. He is also credited with providing a spark for the
transformation of hundreds of thousands of Dalits or untouchables to
Theravada Buddhism.
Let us all pay homage to this great man and salute his work on his Mahaparinirvan Day – Death Anniversary on 6th December.
